Information You Send Directly
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result service. Our servers do not retain those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting services may retain routine logs such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to operate and improve the service. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run the service, address technical problems, measure traffic, and improve the record-resource pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles about individual visitors.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to County and State portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their own policies govern information submitted on those services. The same is true of sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise necessary to operate the service.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes described here require. There are no site accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles stored here.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information, and we will remove it.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service holds. Because this service retains very little, an inquiry usually concerns a contact message or ordinary log data. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by New York State, Oneida County, or the City of Utica remain under the custodian's control. New York FOIL, Public Officers Law article 6, §§84–90, governs access to agency records rather than this private site's visitor data.
Updates to This Policy
A revised policy will be posted here. Continued use after publication of the revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
